Limiting Your Backup Speed

During some parts of the day (or always, depending on your service), you might want MozyHome to use less of your upload bandwidth so other higher priority services (such as email) can use it. MozyHome allows you to customize your backup speed so that you don't have to use your information lines when you need them the most.

Click the Mozy icon in the menu bar , then select Open MozyHome Preferences.
Click the Options tab.

Select Limit backup speed.
Click and hold the slider to move it left and right to indicate how much of your bandwidth you want MozyHome to use.
If you select Limit between, then select the time range when you want limiting to occur. If you don't select Limit between, then MozyHome will always limit your backup speed. Your changes are automatically saved.
